Journal 4

Over vacation, I went out to shoot with a digital camera for the elements assignment. I went out into the woods in the back of my Grandpa's house. As I was walking into the woods I noticed a really big bird sitting on a tree branch. I brought my camera up to my eye, but as I did that the bird flew away. I tried to get a picture of it flying away, but it came out really blurry. The sun wasn't out, and it was raining. If I was able to take this picture again and get the bird flying I would want to use a fast shutter speed so I could capture the motion of the bird. I don't know if I would be able to take the picture again of that specific bird, but I would probably be able to get a picture of another bird. I would want to shoot the picture in color so you would be able to see the colors of the bird.
